A Family Tradition, Three Decades in the Making
Our family's love for Myrtle Beach began in 1983, when my mom, Janet, and dad, John, started vacationing here. When I met my then-girlfriend, now wife, Diane, in 1991, she joined the tradition.
Over the years, our family grew to include children, relatives, and friends. Eventually, our group numbered nearly 30 people, staying in multiple units at A Place at the Beach III on Shore Drive.
After more than three decades of vacationing in Building 1, Diane and I were blessed with the opportunity to purchase Unit 1H, our own two-bedroom, two-bathroom oceanfront condo. The previous owner, Kimberley Forde, had beautifully renovated the unit, and its first-floor oceanfront location makes it truly special. You can't get any closer to the beach!
Just across the parking lot from our balcony, Ocean Annie's Beach Bar brings the area to life with live music during the season, typically from 2 PM to 11 PM daily.
What began as a family vacation tradition has become a home away from home that we're happy to share with others. We hope you'll enjoy it as much as we have over the years.
